Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) is quite hard to define. My legs have ached at night because I was a child. My mother accustomed to say it was just "growing pains." Much more women than guys have RLS. Why this needs to be nobody looks to know. I don't have all the answers, but I can tell you what has worked for me and what hasn't. RLS isn't life threatening. However, it really is good quality of lifestyle threatening. I'm fine all day until I determine to sit down and watch TV in the evening. Knees and legs ache. The discomfort moves all-around and can be described like ants beneath the skin or even a wiggly and jerky feeling inside legs. There's an inability to sit nevertheless and also a compulsion to have up and walk around.
