Restless Leg Syndrome Symptoms

It causes pain in legs while resting and makes you feel restless. Sometimes people affected from this disease may suffer from sleepiness in daytime. As people are not able to get full rest or full sleep, they get tired and get sleepiness in daytime working. The worse conditions of this particular disease may lead a person to insomnia.

If you feel like to walk, jump or rubbing your legs at the time of rest, due to a typical sensational feeling (feels like itching) then it is one of the restless leg syndrome symptoms. Rubbing and twisting legs actually gives you relief from the itching or pain. Most of the people are not aware of their disease. Not all people have same symptoms, in other words, it can be said that different people may have different symptoms. Tossing on bed is also a symptom of this disorder; you may turn on bed in various directions just to keep yourself away from restlessness. Sometimes people feel like burning or creeping on legs, which can make one fall asleep for many hours. You may also get inactiveness, laziness and stress. Symptoms are mostly found in the noontime, evening and night.

Typically, only some of the symptoms of restless leg syndrome disorder are present in sufferers. It cannot be diagnosed but by getting similarity of these, you can actually get to know that you are one of the sufferers or not. After recognizing such, you can consult your doctor or any specialist neurologist to get appropriate treatment of this disorder. Medications can be helpful in treating restless leg syndrome, as it is a neurological disorder.
